Bakemono no Ko is a movie released in July 2015 and created by HOSODA Mamoru. Once again, Mamoru asked TAKAGI Masakatsu (Ôkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki) to compose the music for his new movie. Those who listened to his previous works (really wonderful!) know what to expect: beautiful piano tracks and some great symphonic compositions. Personnally, I enjoyed the music of Ôkami kodomo no Ame to Yuki, with an intimate atmosphere and memorable music. Anyway, in this OST we can also enjoy beautiful themes like "Mitasareta kodomo" (n°13), which is for me the most memorable one in this anime. The remaining tracks are beautiful, but unfortunately not unforgettable.

In short, this album is really good, but for those who did not see the movie, they will not see any interest to it. If you wish to discover TAKAGI Masakatsu's works, I recommend you to listen first to Ôkami kodomo no Ame to Yuki’s OST (VPCG-84928).
